Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko’s first born daughter, Saumu Mbuvi completed her university studies at JKUAT, where she was studying Mass Communication.
Saumu graduated during the university’s 27th graduation ceremony, something she has been anticipating for a while, which came as a joy not only to her but her entire family.
The highlight of the celebrations happened at their Mua Hills home where flamboyant politician organized a star-studded graduation party for Saumu, with Kenya’s top celebrities attending the exclusive event.
Sonko did not hold back when it came to entertainment for his daughter and the guest, by having some of the biggest secular and gospel artists from East Africa, including Alikiba, Christina Shusho, Sauti Sol, Mercy Myra and more.
The star-studded ceremony was one of a kind, and with a man as wealthy as Sonko, there is nothing he would not do to ensure that her daughter enjoyed every minute of her big day, and it the senator was truly a proud father.

The joy of any parent is to see their children excel and prosper in life. Today is a very special day for my family. My first born daughter has finally graduated from university, she’s one of the few people who knows the real me. I sired her while I was in school when I was still a hustler.
